Dr. Tal Ben-Horin, assistant professor for the Department of Clinical Sciences in the
College of Veterinary Medicine at the NC State Center for Marine Sciences and Technology (CMAST), graduate student, Zakir Bulmer, and research technician\/former Semester at CMAST student, Barrett Rose, are participating in a quest with theNorth Carolina Center for Coastal Algae, People and Environment (NC C-CAPE) to research the effects of damaging algal blooms in NC waterways.  <\/strong>A total of nine faculty members from five different colleges across the University are combining their knowledge to gain a better understanding of how these blooms impact NC ecosystems.  Read more in the original article, NC State on the Coast<\/a>, by Miriam Antelis<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
