Small World!

While CMAST Director David Eggleston was recently conducting research on underwater soundscapes and movements of juvenile sharks with colleague Dr. Alex Hearn with the Galapagos Science Center, he was able to team up with NC State undergraduate students Madison Scholes and Emory Gardner. Both Madison and Emory are enrolled in a Study Abroad Program in the Galapagos, and are former Semester At CMAST undergraduates.

This project is a collaborative effort between Drs. David Eggleston and Del Bohnenstiehl at NC State, and Dr Alex Hearn with the University of San Francisco Quito. This pilot project was funded by NC State’s Research and innovation Seed Funding Program.
