CMAST Director Elected as Vice President and President Elect of National Association of Marine Labs

Congratulations to Dr. David Eggleston (left), director of the NC State University Center for Marine Sciences and Technology (CMAST), who has been elected as Vice President & President-Elect of the National Association of Marine Labs.

This association represents over 100 labs in the US. One of the main duties of this position is serving as Chair of the organization’s Public Policy Committee. This committee: 1) tracks federal funding and initiatives and advocates for funding, 2) helps to guide federal priorities in research, education, and outreach, and 3) addresses key federal policy and management issues.
