Area(s) of Expertise
- Application of Remote Sensing and GIS technologies in on aquatic systems
- Land use and land cover change influences on fisheries
- Freshwater and marine habitat assessment
- Geospatial and statistical modeling
- Spatial distribution modeling
Research Summary
My research focuses on the use of remote sensing and GIS technologies to address questions of how processes related to land use and land cover change influence aquatic systems at both local and regional scales. Recent research has focused on the development of improved digital image preprocessing, post-processing, and data reduction algorithms.
